Through local clinics, mobile outreach and vaccination campaigns, UGEAFI bridges the health gap.
With more than 20 years of experience, UGEAFI delivers integrated health programs that improve access to quality care for vulnerable populations in rural, hard-to-reach and conflict-affected areas, working primarily in North and South Kivu through health facilities, mobile clinics and community-based prevention.
UGEAFI manages health centres — including CMAM in Minembwe, CMAB in Bibokoboko and the ISOKO Clinic in Goma — offering curative and preventive care, routine immunisation, antenatal and postnatal care, safe deliveries, family planning and voluntary HIV counselling and testing. Mobile clinics extend consultations, immunisation, screening and maternal care to isolated communities.
The organisation runs vaccination and community-mobilisation campaigns, strengthens maternal and newborn health, and supports infection prevention and control through liquid chlorine — interventions that have been vital in responding to cholera, COVID-19 and Ebola.
